Chelsea and Jon
A little while ago I did a shoot with Chelsea and Jon, these 2 are great models. Chelsea’s beautiful smile and Jon’s ability to make her laugh made the shoot super easy. That and the fact that I always have a fun time when I see these two, I was laughing too:)
Kim and Roger, Tigh Na Mara
Shooting Kim and Rogers west coast wedding was a great way to spend a weekend. I was working with Ashley Gulevich of Ashley G Photography and we started out our road trip up island with some pie and good music, how could the weekend not go well?
The big day began with a game of golf for the boys and some spa time for the girls, a great way to start the day. After getting ready with the boys we headed down to the gazebo with a wonderful ocean view for the ceremony. Kim and Roger’s whole day was really lovely, center pieces made by friends, the cake and little cupcakes made by her sister and mother, you could see the care and love that went into the whole day.
We were able to spend a super fun and awesome few hours photographing the wedding party, and when I say super fun I mean it. There was ice cream, giant chess games, walks on the beach and a few shocking details that I’ll leave out, you’ll just have to bug the bridal party about those. And of course that was followed by the reception that included a LOT of laughter and a midnight snack of pizza.
Kim and Roger thank you so much for including me in your big day, I hope this next stage of your life is filled with lots of love!
Victoria Rhythmic Gymnastics Club Year End Show
Recently I photographed the year end show for Victoria Rhythmic Gymnastics Club. The girls all did a great job on their routines, they looked wonderful. I was so impressed by their flexibility! You could tell the hard work the girls and instructors put in. Here’s a few photo’s of the night.

Co-op Charity Golf Tournament
Recently I volunteered my time to photograph the Peninsula CO-OP’s Golf tournament to raise money for the Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson’s Center. The Day was a success, with an awesome turn out for the tournament and the auction after. The CO-OP did a wonderful job of putting on this event. They even had a helicopter ball drop on the 18th hole. After the tournament and the auction I am happy to say The event raised $36,000 for Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson’s Center!
Sarah and Kaine, Deep Cove
Sarah and Kaine’s gorgeous May wedding was the second I shot with Pete Snell Photography that Saturday. It was a busy busy day for us in Deep Cove, but when it was all over it felt pretty great to sit down and say “We shot two weddings in a day, and they were both a success.”
Sarah and Kaine’s wedding was the second in the day and it started with a very intimate ceremony in a little 1880′s church. We then embarked on a small adventure around Sidney with the wedding party. Whilst the wedding party was a big one they were so much fun and up for any idea we threw their way. The best part of Sarah and Kaine’s big day though would definitely have to be the helicopter they made their entrance in at the reception!
All in all their big day was a beautiful one, full of so much love. Congrats Sarah and Kaine!

Angelica and Bill, Deep Cove
Last weekend Angelica and Bill celebrated their love with an intimate ceremony in Deep Cove. I had the opportunity to shoot this wedding with Pete Snell (Pete Snell Photography) and despite the rain I don’t think it could have gone better! The day was wonderfully laid back just as I found Angelica and Bill to be. The location was simple and gorgeous with wonderful window light and a view of the ocean. As Angelica and Bill both work in Ocean Sciences and love their jobs it was a perfect place for this important day in their lives and we were able to get some great shots of them.

Michelle and Mike, Victoria BC
Michelle and Mike’s wedding was an awesome one to shoot, some couple’s you meet and you just really wish you were friends with. The wedding party were so great to work with, laughed at my bad jokes, humoured me when I asked them to jump/look/lean/smile, and then did it all again. I also found Michelle and Mike’s family and friends to be so welcoming. All in all the day was beautiful. There were adorable cupcakes, simple and classy decor and wonderful people. Congrats Michelle and Mike, I hope you enjoy a long and happy life together!
